Problems with E-mail from vBulletin

Hi again guys.
Again, since i'm new to the forum i cant really tell if the problem has been there since day one.
Some members has complained about that they cant recive any mails from the forum, the mail doesn't even show up in the spam folder, so i did a experiment and sure enough, the claims is correct.
AOL/AIM, Zoho, iCloud, Yahoo, mail.com, inbox.com etc etc, i have tried them all and no one seems to be able to recive mails from the forum.

E-mail provider that does work that i tried so far is Hotmail, Gmail and some Swedish webmail.
Is it a bug or a setting? The only plugins that runs is IS Bot (bot protection) and Image resizer.

If your forum is actually sending out emails then I don't think there's any vbulletin feature to stop it from sending out to certain addresses. But I suppose it could be that your host has been flagged as producing spam or something like that (I know you said it's not showing up in spam folders, but I think some email provider just block sources of spam).

I'm still scratching my head over this since i/we cant solve the problem. Over 15 mail services tested and only 2 provider actually recieve the mail. Any suggestions?

You could check these kind of places
http://www.dnsbl.info/dnsbl-database-check.php
http://www.mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx
http://www.ahbl.org/tools/lookup.php
http://www.blacklistmonitoring.com/l...ess_lookup.php (they have an article on how to get off the blacklist http://www.blacklistmonitoring.com/e...blacklist.html)

There's tools here:
http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/A...am/Blacklists/

Also make sure you don't have the domains of those you cant get through to blocked at server level...etc

Thanks for the links.
Some lookup engines mark our ip as red "blacklisted"
And if i visit the proper website where we supposedly are blacklisted, they say something else like No matches found for xxx.

Looks like almost all blacklist search engine is outdated or something, so i cant really trust them.
