How to not display sub-forums in forum view

Sorry if the title sounds a little complicated. I have a forum with 6 sub-forums that can be viewed from the main view.

But when I click on the forum I'm taken to the forum view where all 6 sub-forums are shown, however these are just links and I do not wish to show the sub-forums in this view only.

Does anyone know how to turn off viewing of these sub-forum links in this view? Thanks!

I am pretty sure you would need to edit the FORUMDISPLAY template to remove the code to show the subforums.

So what you want is just to stop the page loading on the second pic when the title is clicked ?

Quick tempory fix while you work out a way to do it better

In admin edit the forum for that cat

Forum Link
(Entering a URL here will cause anyone clicking the forum link to be redirected to that URL) - enter your forum URL

This will then just direct people back to the forum page and not let them view or load on the second page
