CMS recent posts showing posts it shouldnt
 

I have been scouring my forum admin c/p for 2 days now trying to work out why the homepage recent posts widget is showing posts it shouldnt
It only showing the title of the thread and the person who created it and not showing the 1st few words like the others do (thankfully)
A new forum has been created for members playing BF3
The post should only be viewable by members which i grant with admin c/p usergroups

I am running vb 4.1.9


I have checked the widget config
I have checked permissions and there is nothing wrong there
checked members groups
Just wondering if i have overlooked something or anyone had similar problems

Ok i seem to have solved this after many hours :(

I removed the recent posts widget completly and then created another recent posts widget and it is now working correctly :)

I have just found the soloution to this problem for good :)

It was a moderator leaving redirects !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
