Working with the CMS

Hi,

I have purchased the vBulletin 4 suite which includes the CMS and Blog.

Basically what I am trying to do is create a few static pages and add them to the main navigation and sub navigation.

I think I figured out how to create a static page. On the "Front Page' I chose "Static Page" from the drop down box next to "create" then clicked "go". This brought me to a place where I could create a static page which I did. I filled out everything and then saved it but it didn't add the page to to either navigation.

So I guess my question is, how can I add static pages I create to the navigation or sub navigation?

Ideally I would like to create a number of static pages and structure it like such:

Main Navigation: Places
Sub navigation: United States Canada Japan China

Main Navigation: Languages
Sub navigation: English Chinese Japanese

So for instance, someone would click on "places" in the main navigation... they would be taken to the static page I created for "Places", but then in the sub navigation, "United States", "Canada", "Japan" and "China" would appear which would be links to those static pages I created.

Thanks very much for your help!

Not to discourage you, but the current navigation system is difficult to customize. It's always been hard with vbulletin. On our site we scraped the navbar and created a custom css menu system.

With that said - there are plugin here to customize the navbar in vbulletin. I noticed Paul has been working with vbulletin to add more hook locations to customize the navigation system natively.

I was afraid someone was going to say that! What is this "custom css menu system" you speak of? Can I check it out?
