Facebook Connect Not Working on vB 4.0.6

I am running vB 4.0.6 and FB Connect doesn't seem to work. When it is clicked, nothing happens. I see this issue is common, and most suggest upgrading, but is there any other alternative? I have tons of mods in the current version and want to avoid upgrading.

I believe facebook made a change in it's interface. vbulletin was up to version 4.1.8 or so at that time so only those versions have the change in them.

Is there anyway I can find what changes were made so I can make them? Thanks.

I have not seen anybody post what the exact changes were. I'm not sure if it's just template changes or also a bunch of file changes. You would need to compare the files in order to see the changes (look at /includes/facebook).

My Facebook Connect is no longer working as well. Currently on Version Version 4.1.6 - is the only option upgrading, or could there be something wrong with my site.

There Running the latest Vbulletin 4.1.10 so it works Fine with that now

Are you using a default style? No modifications?

No. But all I did was change the colors under style options. Nothing serious. I've added a few pluggin/products.

Upgraded to 4.1.10...we shall see if this helps...
