Found a list of sudo gallery scripts
I can't recall having so much fun diddling around with some scripts until I went on the prowl for image sliders. I found a few at dynamic drive but they are to be blunt a little ugly. So with Google being my friend I put in some search terms and stumbled on to this one: > http://galleria.io/
It's so simple an idiot like me made it work the first time out. LOL!!! And it works parked in a cms widget. Because of the size restraints I don't think it's gonna work in the forum sidebar. Just a little footnote here. Park this in the root directory and use the relational paths already set up. Add autoplay: 3000 to under the size setup and it scrolls through the image urls all by it self. It comes with a down and dirty basic theme that has a css page that you can edit for appearance. Aw nuts. Just read the beginners guide and follow the instructions. Live demo of the Classic (Free theme that comes with it) > http://animeappeal.com/content.php Refresh your browser to see more images. That's a modification I made to it using rotate.php at the end of the image url's. Now the list which this thread is really about. > http://www.1stwebdesigner.com/css/57...box-solutions/ This person has put together a list of html, css, jquery, and flash gallery scripts. The bottom line is all of them are a walk in the park to install and get up and running. I'm in the process of trying some of them out. Now I am not affiliated in any way shape or form with any of the websites and/or script creators. I just stumbled on to them and remembered how helpful most of you have been to me when I had a problem and just thought I'd come back and share what I found. Enjoy... |
