Restore vBulletin keeping posts and users
Hi,
I'd like to reinstal from scratch my vbulletin installation, to apply again mods, settings, ads and template. Obviusly I want to keep users, pm, posts and groups. Any idea to how to do it the clean way? Thank you |
I'm not sure but if I was going to do it I would uninstall all mods first, I would revert all templates and then I would do a backup, and I would later restore the backup on clean installation. However, that may be not sufficient solution if your mods really messed up the database. I'm sure there are better ways to extract and import the core of database maybe using ImpEx... anyway, good luck.

I'd like to delete all the settings, cache, options, etc...
I'd like to keep only posts, users and pm. Thank you :) |
I believe saving certain tables of your mysql database (assuming that's what you use) works as well, i believe you just have to import it after installing
