Forum width
 
I am trying to get my forum to have a max size of 1000 px.
That seems easy enough but i want to keep it centered also.
I tried playing around with the doc width but obviously that is the wrong way to go about it.
Sorry i know i am asking easy questions but i really dont know and rather than stumble around for hrs and make a mess of my forums i decided to ask first.

If you want to keep it centered, you need to play with the margins also and set the right and left margins to auto.

The use of auto in the margins was what i was missing.
I was trying everything but lol.
