VB Hacked?
 

Hello guys, so I was told by some users that my site was redirecting to some .ru malware spyware instalation thing, imediatily I disabled the VB to try to fix it.

I was running on 4.1.2, after that I disabled every plugin, upgraded to 4.1.8, reinstaled the skin and the problem continuous.

I am desperated for some help to try to fix it. Any ideas?

Did you use a backup database when you upgraded? Did you do any searching in your database at all to see if you were hacked? If you aren't willing to check your database, then you should use a backup database and upgrade that instead of your already hacked database.

Were you able to fix this OP? I'm having a similar issue with traffic being redirected from my Google search results to another domain spammed with ads.

Doing some checks I've found there is malware on my site called WM DEPACK but I cannot see any code to remove. This problem seems to effect a lot of sites but there is no clear solution...
