Random photo in thread
 
I was thinking that it would be nice to have have a random post inserted in threads of a certain size which would pull a random photo from a selected folder.

For example, I have a car forum and, as I am reading a thread, a random photo of a car shows up inside a post.

My goal would be for it to only work if the thread had 6 or more posts and it be placed between posts 6 and whatever the total number of posts in the thread.

I have no idea how this would impact server load. Any ideas? Thanks.

I created a mod that does something like you describe. You could use it as a starting point for what you want to do.
