Photos being resized at different sizes while being uploaded

Does anyone know why photos are being resized at different sizes while being uploaded with version 4.1.8? If I batch upload 5 pictures all the same size of 800px wide from my computer to an album, some of the pictures will get uploaded a bit smaller at 751px wide.
