Auto Ban Alts of Banned Users
 

Does anyone know of a mod that checks the ip and autobans an alternate of a perma-banned user? I feel as though this would be very helpful rather than having to IP ban each one individually.

AE detector.

All that seems to do is detect any alts an send the admins an email or make a post. I mean something that detects if the alt of the user is permabanned and if so, perma-bans that user too. Like facepunch's if you're familiar with it.

Maybe someone who is good with php could mod the code from that.

I know there is already such a Mod here, I have seen it. Can't think of the name of it though to try to search. You might send a PM message to one of the Moderators or admins, they might know offhand.

PMing a mod is not a good idea. Using the search is. Also using Google to search the site helps...

ban ae site:vbulletin.org

In google will search only vbulletin.org for "ban ae"

That said the only mod I know of is the AE Detector mod. I wouldn't want something auto-banning users anyway, seems dangerous IMO.
