Loooking to purchase however need a couple of Q's answered

G Day All,

Been thinking to purchase vBulletin on and off for some time however I still have a couple of question to ask. I have tried the search option as well as searching pages manually however was unable to locate what I was after sorry.

1) Currently I run SMF 1.1.15 + Tinyportals so how difficult would it be to migrate from that to vBulletin?
2) I love the Calendar system in SMF as it will allow a post entry to whatever board you wish to have the entry linked to but so far I’ve not seen this being available through vBulletin, is their such a mod?
3) Does vBulletin allow child boards which would sit directly under a selected board?

As I say I’ve joined a number of sites to try and review vBulletin as well as locate answers to the above without joy and this will be the decider (more so the calendar) for us to move across.

Thanking all in advance

1. I have no idea what tinyportals is but Impex should be able to handle the import of SMF.

2. I have not seen anything that would do this directly, however, when you create a Calendar event, you could link to the thread / post within it. Its an extra step, but the same ultimate result.

3. Not exactly sure what you mean by this - but forums can have any number of sub forums.
