Dropdown list for values in custom profile field
 

Hi,

I have created a few custom profiles on my forums such as Device (where users have to enter their BlackBerry Smartphone Model Number), but I saw on another forums, that they have the same profile field, but it has a drop down list where users can select their device rather than typing it down.

I tried reading in the vBulletin Manual and I assumed that the closes thing to this would be to make that profile field a Multiple Selection Box rather than a Single Text Field but I can't find that in my options, I only can choose either single text field or multiple text field


I am running on vBulletin v4.1.8

Can someone help me out please?

It looks like once you've created a text type profile field, you can only edit it and change between single or multiple line. But if you create an entirely new profile field you can select "single-selection menu" for the field type (or multiple selection, if you want them to be able to select more than one).
