How to populate a vB_Search_Results object with the results of a custom SQL query?
I would like to create a new page that searches the database and returns a list of posts' results formatted exactly as the current search.php results are formatted. The search query is a bit of custom SQL, there is no user input (only a results page). To do this it appears that I need to populate a vB_Search_Results object with the results of the query. I found the definition for that class in vb/search/results.php however I cannot seem to trace the trail of static function calls back to an SQL query that I might hard-wire as my specific query. How can I populate this object with the results of my query?
Thanks. |
