Exclude specific users posts from showing in whats new
 

How can i exclude posts made by a specific user/or specific user group, from showing in "whats new"?

I tried adding the user id to the end of the whats new search link link this, but it didnt have an effect "&exclude=id:5555"

The above works when wanting to exclude a forum, just wondering how to make it exclude a user instead

There is no way to exclude certain userids. I believe you would need to actually go in and modify the search query to exclude certain userids/usergroups.

Any suggestions on how to modify the search query? Is it a php file i would be modifing?
