Sharing vbulletin user database on 2 sites?
 

I have 2 vbulletin sites (each one licensed). However, I want them to share the user database. Is there an easy way of doing this?

This thread talks about a way to achieve that: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=174642 . I think you'd have to identify all the tables that you'd need to share to make that work.


Then there's this mod: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=185021 which is for vb3.7, and scanning over the thread I didn't see anyone who got it to work with vb4. I'm not sure why because it seems simple enough. But in any case it *does* have the list of tables you'd need to share to have users in common between two sites.

Obviously if you have active sites already you want to have backups before you try anything.
