showing first and last post only on threadview

I apologize as I'm on my phone ATM.......

But my forum is 4.1.6 and its only showing first n last posts on most browsers except chrome.. even with hooks disabled and no plugins this is the case. Any advice as to how to fix this? I can provide any n all info as needed.
