Question about "Who's online"

I have the "who's online" turned on for my forum. I can see the list of users and the thread they are viewing. Is there a way this query can do a "group by" thread. The output would be something like

Thread 1.....being viewed by 28 users a, b, c .............
Thread 2.....being viewed by 12 users x, y, z .............

Is there an existing mod for this?

I am unaware of a mod that will do that. It wouldn't make any sense once you have a lot of threads.
