Banned from posting (new) -- banned from posting and viewing (default)
 

Hello guys,

I have a pretty idea for a god modification that looks like this :

When Admin give you ban he choose from 2 types \ options :

After Admin choose one of those options , will have to choose the default option for time :

That will remain untouch .

1. Ban from posting

-- the user that will be banned with this option will see the forums\subforums\threads\posts in the normal mode .
-- but he will not be abble to make any posts (posts in threads, threads, profile posts ...) .
-- he will be able only to see the entire forums, subforums, threads , posts .. like a normal user .

2. Ban from posting and viewing

-- this is a default ban , you can't see the forums, threads, posts ...
-- you only see the ban message page .

What do you say about this ?
Can this be made?

PS: I want this , the forum will be much spared , to say so .

You can make a new usergroup without posting permissions, something like "Read Only Users" and just move people you want to "ban" into this usergroup. It will take a little extra work to manually move them out but it can be done.

Yes but when I give the ban ... there is the problem because I can move only to 1 usergroup (by default , by system)
Maybe an option that will ask the ban giver where the banned user will go ? (the usergroup? .. something like this)
