Reduce vBulletin Suite to CMS
 

Hello,

I bought vBulletin 4 Suite, but decided not to use the blog and cms functionality after all.
The community is pretty active, but i want to reduce my vbulletin to just the forum.
Re-starting with a whole fresh install and losing all customizations and users+topics is not an option here.

Disable them in your products.

admincp--->Plugins and products--->manage products--->

Select disable from the drop down menu next to vbulletin blog and vbulletin cms

I did this yesterday, you also need to remove the xml files that CMS and blog use out of the /includes/xml/ folder. Otherwise when you try to update it will get stuck on blog and never timeout. I learned the hard way ;-)
