StarCraft API - Should be easy for a Modder

I am looking to do ANYTHING with this data. I mean it. I would prefer to have the bnet profile information converted to their profile in a legible format, but am open to ideas.

Essentially I would want specifically the two things: Custom Profile Fields for Character Name and Number, where it would then populate the profile with game history and basic player data.

The other item is a list of "most downloaded", which has been done, www.sc2mapster.com has it in place.

I am sure this database is a scrape of battle.net, but if there is a better way to retrieve the same data, I would be very interested.
