Who's online
 

Is there a way to change who's online so it has a new colum that state's where there from.
E.g it translates their IP into a flag of the country there from?

Just add a user profile, ask them to fill it in :), or add the flags mod from here and make that profile field visible in the who's online.

Just one thing to remember the more images you use the slower your forum, you can make this a little better by making sure the size of the images is specified in a wrapper like a <td>

There are a few hacks here that will show a flag on the whos online.
