how are people only displaying subforum alone?

For the last god knows how many hours i have googleing and searching vb.org on how to display subforums only without the new thread from main forum. would be so cool if this was easy done please?

best i can explain with screen shots.

You have to set that forum as a category in your Forum Manager.

If I remember correctly, you have to go into Forum Manager and edit the parent forum to change the setting "Forum is Open" to No. Hope that helps

but i also noticed boards still have the border line around forum_new/old as ive asked in this thread https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=271104
