r u really sure that u have not installed any mod for fake users?

Is it 10,000 members or 10,000 guests...? If it is specific members signed on there really isn't much that could case that other than a mod or really having 10,000 members online.

10,000 guests could be some sort of DOS attack or maybe some popular site linked to you for some reason.

its 10,000 members and my guests count is slightly under 400 which is normal and i did not install any mods especially to fake the count .....

if a site is linked to me somehow how would i go about finding that ...thanks Bird for getting back to me

Do you have Google Analytics or some sort of web stats installed? It should tell you how many users are coming to your site and what sites referred them, if any. I know in Google Analytics it would be listed under "traffic sources."

It's a known bug.
If you go over to vB.com and do a search you will find more users with the same problem.
It freaked me out when It happened to me, until I searched for an answer.

There is no fix at this present time, I think they are working on it (bug report shows this) for the upcoming of 4.1.7
