How do I turn on automatic quotes in PM quick reply?
 

At some point I turned off the automatic quotes in PM - users wanted it disabled. Normally the PM you are viewing is quoted in the quick reply or if you click reply or forward. Since I made the change, that is no longer the case - there is no quote in the quick reply or if either of the buttons are clicked.

Time has passed, I forget exactly how I did it, and now I'm trying to undo it. Help please.

Once again, vb.org comes to the rescue. After having searched and read countless threads around the topic of removing the PM quotes, never finding the method I had actually used, I finally came across the right tip just minutes after posting this thread. Go figure...

To undo my removal of the autoquote, I had to remove this from the template "newpost_quote":
