Adding a linked banner

Hello All, do not know if my terminology is correct but I am unsure how to do this. I have added a banner for a new sponsor and want forum users to be able to click the banner, and go to the vendor's website. This banner is located in a thread, not a header on any main pages.

Can anyone help?

Put link code around the image? Without knowing exactly how you added it, it's hard to tell you exactly what to do. But, you may turn an image into a link just by putting link code around it.
