Login via API
 

Hi all,

I see there is an API which can be used to log in a user.(Is this correct?)

My goal is this, when a user logs into another piece of software on the site, I want it to also log the user into vBulletin, without redirecting to the forum, I just want to begin their session.

This is so once they log in and go to the forum they do not have to log in again.

I would also want to log out the visitor via the same methodology.

Is this possible? If so are there any clear tutorials or how to's for making it happen?

I searched the forums and came up empty...

Well, it says it's an "article", but really all is says is to use the "login_login method". I need to find how to begin using the methods, or see some code just to figure how to start. Hope that links helps and we find where we are going from here. Looks like we're on our own!
