Limit number of linked images
 

Is there a way to limit the number of linked images a user can put in one post. My site is a photo heavy site and I would like to limit the number of linked images included in each post. Currently, I limit the attachments to a maximum of 4 per post, but with the IMG bb code, members can post 20+ images in one post.

Is there any way to limit the number of 'Photobucket', 'Flickr', etc... posted images in a single post?

In Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Message Posting and Editing Options you can set the option for Maximum Images Per Post.

However this count includes both linked images AND smilies.
