How do I resize a URL image?

I'm in the process of getting a new forum together and have an image saved to a photobucket url that I need to fit in my forum top banner. How do I get it to automatically resize to fit all screen resolutions? I've got it in there and it looks good on my computer but is out of whack on my iPad2.

Thanks!

easy solution is use http://www.imageoptimizer.net/ adjust you image to max and min width

then follow this navigation
Admin CP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > click check box (theame) > Under Image Path (Title Image)
give a path and load the image on your server eg : images/misc/logo.jpg

other solution will be to use a plugin that automatically adjust image size which will make the page to load slowly and does not add any value

my method just needs 2-3 trials and take only 5 min very simple hope it helps :)

Thank you. I'll try it and see how it goes.
