vb.org Archive - Import posts from Yahoo group

I have an old Yahoo group with around 50,000 posts I want to import into an archive forum on my existing forum. I see people have used PG Offline to download the messages, and then Impex to import it. Does this still work? I see Yahoo groups are now Tier 3 and not supported (not sure if that is new or old as I see several threads about people doing the import). Is that for all Yahoo groups and all versions of vB? I'd love to get these posts moved, but unsure how easy it would be. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I know it has been done before.
