Unregistered Users Unable to view Articles
 
Recently made the move to vB 4 and I am still putting the site through its paces and testing everything.

Noticed that when I am not logged in I can see the homepage and two simple side widgets that were installed, but not published articles.

I checked the permissions in the article and permissions in the CMS menu for the unregistered/ not logged in users and that does not seem to be the issue.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Edit the section and make sure Show on Section widget is set to Yes.

You rock!!! I will try what you said and report back.

I will have a few more questions over the coming days as we get adjusted to our new software.

"Show on Section Widget" and making sure the actual article had "Show on Section Page" selected did the trick for allowing non-registered users/ non logged in to view the Homepage without any issues.
