How can I change content/limit what is shown when the url is posted to facebook?

When copying and pasting the url of the vbulletin website, it will generally generate the title of the thread and if there is an image it will auto create a small thumbnail of it. For some reason my forum will auto generate the description of what is in the thread and instead of not displaying images it will show image urls as well.

The screenshot shows the most recent url posted shows a blue porsche - it also contains image urls which I don't want it displaying. The 2nd post is displaying a url that was posted from a different forum.
