Having two prefix for one topic ?

Hello,

I'm searching for a way to have two prefix for one topic. For now we can choose only prefix in a list for one topic, even if the forum contains two group of prefixs.
I'd like to have as many prefix as there is prefixs groups in a sub-forum.

How can I do this, is there a mod for that ?

Thanks in advance,

stilgarsinople

There is no option for this, and I don't think there's any existing mod.

A few others have asked recently so I'm going to look into it, but I think it would be pretty hard, especially to allow searches by a second prefix, and may be impossible to do using only plugins. (If anyone else wants to create a mod for this, please let me know so I won't spend time on it).

i created a long time back a mod for it..

i created a new field (prefix2) in thread table and made to work like other prefix works.
it can be done with plugins only and also can be done with files edit.

Would you care to share it?

Check out Extra Threadfields for vB4, the system itself might allow you to do what you were trying to do with your prefixes.

@Sherif : Do you intend to make a public release ?

@ Gio~Logist : Your link is not really what I'm searching for, I just want one thing, not a pack of too much things, and I hadn't find something in that may help, but thanks anyway.
