Problem with template category names

I recently updated my vB to 3.8, and I was in the process of installing hacks, modifying templates, etc. I'm not sure how it happened, but somehow something stripped the edit template list of all of its default category names.

All that shows up now, for all default vB template categories is "Templates." Ones added by hacks (such as PhotoPlog - I haven't removed it yet) still show up just fine, but the loss of the category names is incredibly frustrating.

Does anyone know how this might've happened? And more importantly, how I can fix it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The only things I can think of are if something has changed the global variable $only (which is used to keep the list of category names), or if the templates themselves have been renamed (because they are put in categories based on a prefix of the name).

Actually, just a short while ago I discovered the culprit was a particukr hack (Advanced PM Options). I missed it for so long because it was such an unlikely hack to be causing the problems (and I had recently tested some hacks that deal with stuff like templates much more closely). I just shut down all my hacks to see what was causing it, but that's a huge job, otherwise I would've caught this sooner.

Thanks anyways for the reply :)

Thanks for posting your result. If that mod's from here, did you post about the problem in the thread? It might help others.

Oh, good idea - I should have been suggesting that.
