Thread Rating - Permission based on Post Count (vB3.8.4)
 

Often you have people register on a website to just screw everything up. Especially with Thread Rates. We run a Website about Maps for PC Games, community build maps. Of course every mapper would like to have a nice rating for his work, if people that play his maps either like or dislike it.

So we show each map in a thread. Now the people that download/play these maps are supposed to rate the threads with the Stars, to show the author how much they liked his map or not.

But with the permission for rating as it is, everyone that just signs up on the site, can rate a thread immediately. Even if he only does it to do some fake rating so other people think less of the map in question. That really s***s.

In order to avoid that more, a permission system based on the post count of a user should be possible. So that for example someone can only rate threads, after he at least made a couple or more of his own before he can rate others. That would decrease false ratings more.

I don't find a Mod that can do that. Our Forum still runs on vB 3.8.4. Is there any chance someone could make a Mod like this if its not too much work ?
