email to thread?
 

Hello,

I have an email server with my web hosting account and would like to set up an email address for people to send football results to, which then gets automatically loaded onto a shoutbox or thread.

i.e. I am at my local football match and email "localfootball@mysite.com" with the score and this automatically updates the local football thread with my post.

Is this possible?

I think so. I'm pretty sure there's a mod around that takes posts via email (sorry, never used it, don't know what it's called). Of course these days with smart phones that's becoming less important.

I hope you can try this one, but It will not work in the latest version of VB
I installed and got database error.
