How to set the user group on signup?

I was just wondering how I can CHANGE which usergroup is applied upon signup? I know I should know this and I feel like a moron, but I absolutely can't think of it... I looked in the user group settings and in user registration options, no dice.

There are several threads and even a modification on how to do this. Just search for usergroup* in 4.x Mods and Titles Only
