Auto Thread Poster by BOP5 (Auto Thread Starter)

Version 1.0: Initial Release

This mod was a request. The goal was to post a new thread regularly each week. The thread content would be Identical each week.

You set your thread options in the mod settings, and then schedule the included scheduled task to suit your needs. (It doesn't have to be each week, it can be anything you set.)

Simple mod should work on both VB 3.x and 4.x.

Please Mark as Installed if you use this. :)

Reserved.

installed and adjusted. But he does not create a new thread.

You have to manually run the scheduled task to test this. Who is "he" ?

tumanix 08-14-2011 09:41 PM

hello,
I've done manually. It has created a thread. I've been shaking a time. Clock 23:50. Has also created a thread. But at 0.15 he has a clock created thread.

sorry for my englisch. iam german.

If it created a thread than any problem is simply a matter of setting the scheduled task correctly.

Here is the manual on setting up the task: https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/...duled_task_add

When do you want the thread to be made? (How often and what time of day?)

what the use of it other than that it will create a thread auto with the content(same) given in setting , when u can create different kinds of threads manually....

The benefit is you don't have to make the thread yourself.

Why would anyone want to make the same thread again and again? Can you please provide some examples, as I am unable to understand the point of this.

Good mod, but I cannot figure out why anyone would want to install it. An example would be helpful and give us more insight.

A good example is if you run a weekly or monthly contest-

Every Monday you need to create the same thread:

Quote:

This is our weekly contest. Please post your submissions in this thread. Thank You.
I agree it is a limited use mod, but someone requested it and I made it.
