User(group) color vB code
Greetings, all!
I have a quick question regarding how to specify a user's color in the recent forum posts widget (or any other place, for that matter). To explain: currently, users' names are showing up in whatever link color is specified for that div, but I'd like for the system to detect in what color the user's name appears in other parts of the system and apply it to that username in that location. I'm assuming I'll modify the widget's template where it calls the username and specify that it should be their normal color. So basically I'm wondering if there's a special code that says "Hey, this is this user's name color" - something to the effect of {vb:user_color}. Hope this makes sense. I checked around to see if a question like this had been asked before, but didn't see anything. If I missed a thread, hit me in the head. :) Thanks! |
Hoping this isn't too soon for a shameless self-bump.
Again, if I'm overlooking something obvious, please hit me in the head. ;) |
