Sponors Self Management
 

I am looking for a mod that will allow a sponsor of a forum to manage their own link and banner, along with creating their own section in a forum of the admins choice.

Basicly they come to a website, the click on Become a Sponsor, they pay through the VB API, payment processor returns the paid status. The script will put their account into the Sponsors group, create their own forum space, big them permission to upload their banner and turn it on, along with adding their link to the "Links section"

Anyone heard of this? Anyone interested in a mod like this? Anyone interested in building a mod like this?

Not having to deal with sponsor clients sounds like a great idea. At first. But I don't know - often my only messages to them on a continuing basis are the reminders to renew. Drop those and we would never even talk to each other.

And forget about any of them having the know-how to create their own banner. They may be smart business people, but they hire people to do graphics. That's us.

Most of the sponsors that I know of already have a banners, and if they don't it is another service that can be offered for a small donation or included with a larger sponsorship.

That is a great feature about reminders to renew their sponsorship, I will add it to the list. Now just need to find someone to code it up.

I was looking for something similar for a wordpress plugin and found something called Komoona, which is also integrates with vB according to their site. Anyone tried it out or heard of them?

Komoona is nothing close to what I was looking for. I just want something that allows the sponsors to mange their own info, and banners once they make payment to sponsor the forums.
