Mozilla/Firefox Issue

We're designing a new board using vBulletin 4.1.4. Everything is going well and it works great in IE and Google Chrome but in Mozilla Firefox the Navbar shows up at the bottom and the footer display right under the top navbar but none of the main page content displays.

I'm using an older version of Mozilla/Firefox (3.6.18) so the latest version may display properly but unfortunately as we all know there are plenty of folks that don't upgrade their browsers.

Any ideas on something that may be causing this problem?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

You're screwing with the styles too much. Try the default style - that should work fine.

That sir was unproductive and rude.

Hardly. The guy asked for any ideas and so I gave him what he asked for. I may be wrong, but I wasn't being rude or "unproductive" (whatever that means).

Many people make this same mistake. They get a brand new forum but keep messing with the styles until all kinds of odd problems result. The fact that it works good in two browsers indicates to me this is the problem. I mean, they've actually managed to get the navbar to show at the bottom!

If you've got a better idea, it would probably be lots more "productive" to share it, rather than criticizing me.

Videx I believe it was your terminology, have a second glance at your initial reply bearing in mind the word tact.

Respectively you could have said it this way:

Quote:

You've made a mistake somewhere within your custom style... perhaps css or how you've coded it, basically you've tweaked the style too much and created a problem somewhere. You may also try firebug (Firefox Add-On) to help assist you in finding the culprit!
I mean come now, you must realize after reading some of your replies that your quite blunt and using certain terminology in combination with that makes you come across as well, rude even if your not intending to do so :o.
