Flagging threads so they can be listed
 

I'd like to have a section (maybe a subforum or something), where "flagged" threads appear. A flagged thread would be a thread that a moderator flags that he/she considers to be high quality. This way the special quality threads can all be listed in one place. How can I go about doing this?

You'll probably need to add a new field to the thread table for flagging it. Then write the code to allow a mod to flag it. Then write a page that grabs all threads that are flagged. Not too hard if to can do some coding. If you get stuck, just post up what you have done (with code tags, please!).

Has anything like this been done before? I understand the idea, but a base to work off of would be nice. Thanks
