How to display articles in the front page side-by-side?

How can I display my articles side-by-side instead top to bottom?

For example, take a look at:

https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/content.php

The first two articles are displayed from left to right, while the rest are displayed top to bottom. I want all of my articles to go from left to right with a maximum of 2 articles per line.

Go to section > hover over section name > click edit pencil > content columns > 2 column
