forum problems after upgrading to VB 4.1.4

1 Attachment(s)
I just noticed these issues when I went to do a test post on my test site. I upgraded my test site from 4.13 to 4.1.4.

First.. when I change the width of my browser (IE8)... The top nav bar button row will shift left. Same with the top "New Post" button in showthread. Also the message area also shifts to the left while everything else stays in place. This happens in both postbit and postbit_legacy using the default style.

Secondly, I get horizontal and vertical scroll bars in each post (postbit_legacy) when viewing threads using the default style.

I don't have any addons other than one that I'm working on which doesn't touch the areas mentioned here.

I've attached sample images below. Please let me know how to fix this.

That only happens in IE? I have never heard of this before.

Is that a totally default style - no template modifications at all?

I have not tried it yet on another browser. My computer died this morning for some unknown reason which I have yet to determine. As far as the template though, yes, that is a clean default template. No mods have been done to it.

Do you have a link so we can see this happening?

You should definitely try it in another browser. If it's an IE thing, I can't help since I don't have IE.

It looks like you have a hard width set, rather than a percentage.

Maybe check your customized style vars?

also make sure you have all templates reverted.
