help with search page

I am trying to fix the unlogged in error you will see to the right, with my login box. All the white that shows up, I may end up finding it on my own, but maybe this will speed it up.


Also, if you do a search, just any random one (guests are allowed to search) the search.php page has some style issues that are bugging the heck out of me.
-All the black lines are removed, the ones that show up if you go to forum home.
-As you can see I used a "shadowed" image for the navbar top and bottom so it looks weird.. is there any way to change this while keeping the shadowed image? Adding the original lines in again
