Hi there guys, is there s way that the user must read either the faq or a thread , I've create stating the rules of the forum , plus some sort of requirement that that must post (e.g say hello) in the new user area before posting.

Any help would greatly appreciated.

You could use notices to newly registered with a post count of 0. <------- This is through admincp

There's a mod here that will redirect new users to a post of your choice (i.e. they will always be presented with this post first after registering) <------- This will be a mod

You could include instructions in a welcome PM or email <---- This is through admincp
