VB User Check MYSQL

Hey i was just wondering in the MYSQL databases where is the login form to check if it user is a member and if they have correct password, I assumed it would be login_user or login_function but cannot find it?

Only reason i ask is because im trying to integrate VBulletin 4.0.7 into PHP login system so you can login and then edit you forum without going to the forums also when u go to the forums ur still logged in if u logged in on the website.
