Using <a name> tag

Hello guys..

Since i got alot categories in forums, i would like to ask some help.

I was thinking to give categories name, which will be the id of the forum, and by that i can put manualy links such as <a href="#cat_id"></a>

So now what im asking, is what i should edit that it will work for me?
