Forum Logo Request/Help!!

Hi everyone, i was hoping somebody could help me out with designing a logo for my site. I am running a golf forum called http://www.clubshanks.com and wanted to make a more professional looking logo. The current one simply reads "Club Shank's", but i would like to make one that looked a little more sleek and stylish. The color scheme is red and black and white, and i would like it if the comma in the word 'shank's' was the head of a golf club, and the shaft would sit above the letters. Other than that i have no other requests, just wanted to upgrade my current one since i have very limited skills with graphic design. I have posted a link to my site if anyone wanted to check it out. Thanks in advance!

First attempt, so you can look at spacing etc.

That looks great! the spacing looks fine to me and that was exactly what i was asking for with the club. Much appreciated!

Is there any way that you could make the last "S" seem like its being knocked over by the club? Like put it leaning at a 45* angle or so? If not dont worry about it.

You can look at this one and see what you think. Golf Balls are really hard to do for Favicons due to the little dimples you have to put in them. So if you look at it and don't care for it, let me know, we can try something different like a putter or something.

@mdelcour; yeah I saw that one, posted a couple of years ago. It's not bad

@Jchuba03; Ok this is the best I got, zip contains 16x16 original .png, a favicon (named as) 16x16 and a bonus animated one in .gif also 16x16
